I've begun the right front tire and suspension, and I've added more color to the engine of Dan Gurney's Eagle Mk1 Formula 1 race car. I can't wait until it's done!

I'm back to working on my illustration of Dan Gurney's Formula 1 race car. I'm beginning to add color to the engine. I'm liking how this is turning out!

I added more detail to the engine, began to shade the rear right tire of Dan Gurney's Eagle Mk1 Formula 1 race car and started the front right tire. Easily one of the more detailed illustrations I have done in Illustrator!

I began to add some engine detail and worked on the rims and cockpit. The race car color was a challenge, but I think I pulled it off!

I updated the color on Dan Gurney's Eagle Mk1 Formula 1 race car and I added parts of the engine, cockpit, mirror and began to work on the left front wheel.

Taking a break from classic American stock cars and taking on my most ambitious illustration to date: Dan Gurney's classic Eagle Mk1 Formula 1 race car. It was the first American built race car to win a Formula 1 race.
